Stewart's deep-seated love for automobiles took root when his father introduced him to the world of Formula 1 racing through John Frankenheimer's film "Grand Prix" in the late 1960s. This cinematic exploration of European racing ignited a lifelong fascination with European cars. Fortunately, Stewart's father shared a desire for a sports car, leading them to jointly acquire a 1960 MGA when Stewart was ready for his driver's license. Countless hours were spent bonding over the restoration and enhancement of that car, as well as several other British cars that followed. Remarkably, Stewart still owns his second car, a 1959 MGA purchased during his junior year of high school.
Having forged a successful career in real estate development, Stewart now channels his passion into acquiring progressively faster cars. Currently engaged in racing Formula Fords with the Vintage Racer Group and actively participating in the Ferrari Club of America, he combines his professional real estate expertise with his automotive enthusiasm. Beyond his involvement in the Old Town Festival of Speed & Style, Stewart is integrating his skills to develop the Dominion Lux Garage Condominiums at Dominion Raceway and Entertainment near Fredericksburg, Virginia.

From a young age, Don fostered a passion for high-speed, four-wheeled wonders. Displaying early mechanical aptitude, at the tender age of 11, he crafted his inaugural GoCart from a steel bed frame and salvaged lawn mower engines collected during his morning paper route. His teenage years marked the rescue mission of his initial car, an Austin-Healey 100-6, liberating it from the embarrassment of a makeshift "body upgrade" involving chicken wire and fiberglass. This experience set the stage for a series of automotive conquests, including several Austin-Healeys, a Jaguar XK150 Fixed Head Coupe, various Mercedes Benzs, and ultimately, multiple Morgan +4 and +8 Drop Head Coupes, along with a Jaguar MK2.
In retirement as a Senior Manager from a distinguished career at Bell Labs, Mitre, Mitretech, and Noblis, where he directed research projects related to missile defense, transportation safety, and traveler information systems, Don channels his analytical prowess. Despite retiring, his focus remains steadfast on British sports cars, dedicating considerable time to repair, restoration, and technical sessions to support and educate fellow enthusiasts. For each new undertaking, Don emphasizes a comprehensive execution plan that factors in all stakeholders.

As an Artist Branding Director, my journey into purpose-driven design began with the discovery of abandoned war machines on our German family farm near the Russian front during my early childhood. Fueled by a love for all things mechanical, I escaped East Germany with assistance from my German grandparents and an American Army Colonel. Upon arriving in the US, I pursued a career in industrial design with a focus on automotive design.
After working in Saudi Arabia, my wife and I established an award-winning business focused on designing restaurants and retail shops in major American and Canadian airports. We also crafted food service facilities for universities, sports venues, and healthcare facilities nationwide. Although officially retired, I remain actively involved, contributing to significant projects such as designing athlete dining facilities for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
My automotive adventures started with a $150 purchase of a 1952 Jaguar 'teardrop' coupe, my first daily driver after college graduation. Subsequent acquisitions included a new 1969 Corvette, a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera owned for 41 years, and a recently acquired 1972 Corvette in need of restoration.
Introduced by a friend, I discovered a community united by a love for cars, camaraderie, and a dedication to aiding those in need.

A recent addition to the team but a longstanding volunteer for OTFS&S, Matthew is an IT professional and project manager in the US Navy. Serving as a Marine Corps Veteran for 12 years and participating in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Matthew's military experience has influenced his fashion sense with a blend of classic designs and a touch of flair. While stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Matthew's enthusiasm shifted to motorcycles, and he exclusively embraced riding on two wheels. Over the years, his diverse collection included various vehicles such as the 1995 Nissan 240SX and its RHD S14 counterpart, Nissan GTR-32, GTR-33, Saab 9-3t Aero, Audi A4 and A5 cabriolet, and numerous Suzuki GSX-R 750s.
Originally from the Midwest, Matthew has happily called Alexandria home since 2015. He is thrilled to contribute his skills to the OTFS&S Marketing and Social Media committee.

At the tender age of three, Tim's parents marveled as he effortlessly named every car on the road. By seven, he found himself daydreaming behind the wheel of his Dad's Austin-Healey 100. Thirteen brought a momentous purchase - a $350.00 XK-150 Jaguar - meticulously prepared for the day he would earn his license. A journey with several Mercedes 190 SL's and a Morgan +4 followed before Tim rediscovered his own Austin-Healey 100. Concurrently joining his brother in a Nondestructive Testing business focused on instruments for detecting defects in critical materials, Tim found the crack-finding equipment and borescopes invaluable for restoring vintage cars. The Healey underwent a "rolling restoration" spanning two decades, covering over 100,000 miles to numerous Healey events nationwide.
As life unfolded with marriage and the joy of raising a son and daughter, the Healey became a cherished part of the family. Over a decade, from '95 to '05, it underwent a comprehensive restoration at home. Now, after 47 years at the helm of the NDT business and as retirement whispers in the near future, Tim reflects on a journey that might soon transition into a slower lane. With the kids nearing the end of their college journey, the Healey remains a permanent fixture, and a work-in-progress MK 2 Jaguar adds a new chapter to Tim's automotive adventures.

Hal's automotive fascination sparked at the age of 5, engrossed in the pages of Hot Rod magazine. Growing up amid Southern Virginia's short track NASCAR culture and actively participating in restoring a 1935 Plymouth alongside his father further fueled his passion for cars. However, the nomadic nature of a 30-year Navy career, marked by constant moves, limited garage space, overseas assignments, and sea duty, restrained his hands-on involvement with automobiles.
Upon settling in Alexandria post-retirement, Hal seized the opportunity to fully immerse himself in his automotive interests. While appreciating cars of diverse origins, his present collection exclusively embraces British craftsmanship. It includes a 1955 Austin-Healey 100 "Nasty Boy" (powered by a Chevrolet V8), a unique 1956 Austin-Healey 100 with a steel hardtop, a 1959 Triumph TR3A, a 1969 Morgan Plus 8, and a meticulously crafted replica FIA small block Cobra race car, collaboratively built with friends in Alexandria. Adding to the ensemble is a 1967 BSA Victor motorcycle.
Now a resident of Williamsburg, Hal relishes the car-rich culture of Tidewater Virginia while maintaining strong ties with his petrolhead comrades in Alexandria.
